Social Media and Self-Image is a short animated film created for AMAZE about identity, insecurity, and the gap between how life looks online and how it actually feels. I produced and directed the project from the initial brief through final delivery, shaping the concept, visual storytelling, and production process.
THE CHALLENGE
I was given a dense research document about social media and self-image, and had to turn it into a compelling story. The breakthrough was creating two opposing characters: one addicted to social media, the other firmly against it. Their conflict transformed the research into something human, funny, and dramatically engaging.
