From 2021 to 2024, I led Animation Guild Israel with two goals: to make animators feel they belonged and to grow the industry around them. I worked to build confidence, bring more money and opportunities into the field, and strengthen animation’s place within Israel’s creative industries, helping it become a force to be reckoned with.
THE CHALLENGE
As a nonprofit, the Guild was always short on resources, with a very small team, mostly volunteers, supporting dozens of members every day. It was a constant balancing act between managing the team, raising funds, producing events, creating immediate value for members, and pushing long-term strategic change in a system where animation was still a new and unfamiliar field.
WHAT I DID
✦ Led the campaign that changed Israel’s Film Law for animation
