Something Hopeful is a collaborative animated installation created for Tel Aviv White Night and projected onto one of Tel Aviv’s most iconic statues. As Art Director, I initiated the project, produced it in collaboration with the Tel Aviv municipality, and directed and curated the participating artists to turn the concept into a cohesive animated piece.

THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was as much about people as it was about art. I had to secure approval from Menashe Kadishman’s family, convince the Tel Aviv municipality to invest a significant budget, present a clear creative vision, and then guide multiple artists with very different styles toward one cohesive installation.
