Social Media and Self-Image
Creative Production & Animation for AMAZE
I produced and directed this animated explainer for AMAZE from the initial brief through final delivery. The goal was to approach an educational subject through character-driven visual storytelling rather than relying on the more conventional explainer-video language.
The Project
The film explores social media and self-image for a young audience. From the beginning, I wanted the piece to feel like a story rather than a lesson: something visually playful and emotionally accessible while still communicating the core educational ideas clearly.
My Role
I led the project from brief through final delivery, combining creative direction with hands-on production. My role included shaping the storytelling approach, directing the visual development and coordinating the work required to bring the film through animation and final render.
Visual Approach
Rather than defaulting to a typical whiteboard-style explainer, the project used character animation and a more authored visual language. The aim was to make the message feel native to the audience while giving the film a distinct identity of its own.
Result
The finished film reached more than 265K views on YouTube.
